Also, I had a **terrific** new shoer do his shoes today, it's amazing the difference one shoeing can make.

My Horse
Zipity Do Rock is my Paint Gelding, 15.2 hands and 13 years old. He's out of Dirty Rocki and Zippo Pine Bar is his grandsire.
A broke western pleasure, hunter and trail horse, he is enjoying life away from the circuit as an adored family member- he was getting tired of the ring. I got him in fall of '08 from Gately Training Center in Woodinville, WA so we're still learning about each other but I knew immediately that he was the horse for me.
In July of 09 he was diagnosed with Cushings, and we are now in the fight of our life. We've blogging about it at http://cushingshorse.blogspot.com/.
I board near my home at a farm called Red Barn.
My business (Cowgirly) helps support my horse, and I hope to do a line of paint designs soon.

Wow, I am glad that worked for him. I have one mare that is half wooly mammoth and it takes forever for her to shed!
